Our farm is located 320 meters above Bolzano, surrounded by vineyards in a quiet and sunny hillside position with a panoramic view of our village church and the South Tyrolean plain. In good weather, you can see the Dolomites in the distance.
Bolzano is just an 8-minute drive away. For the more adventurous tourists, the ‘local road’ can get you to Bolzano in just 3 minutes, but it is very steep and narrow. If you prefer walking, you can reach Bolzano directly in about 20 minutes.
The village of Jenesien is also only a few minutes away by car. Here, you will find the Salten, one of the largest larch plateaus in Europe.
Enter ‘Jenesien – San Genesio’ in your navigation system. Drive through Bolzano and take the panoramic road uphill to San Genesio (SP99).

Now you must count: After the fifth tunnel, which is open on one side, you will find the entrance (junction) to ‘St. Georgen – St. Georgen’ on the right-hand side. Look for our ‘Tollhof’ sign there.
After the turn-off, drive 450 meters downhill through the vineyards, past three farms, and directly to our house. The car park is in front of the barn above the house.
Bolzano can be easily reached by bus or train from all directions. Whether you arrive by bus or train, always get off at Bolzano central station.
At Bolzano’s main train station, you will find the main bus station at the northern end of the train station. From the bus station you can take lines 156 and 157 to San Genesio – Jenesien / Avigna – Afing. After about 13 minutes, the bus reaches the ‘San Giorgio – St. Georgen branch-off’ stop. As bus stops in South Tyrol are not signposted, simply ask the driver to let you know when the bus has reached the stop. Timetables are available online or at the bus stop.
Follow the main road for 100 meters to the entrance to St. Georgen. From here, descend about 400 meters through the vineyards to the farm. Continue downhill and you will arrive at the farm.
If you are traveling by public transport, we will be happy to pick you up personally at the station upon your arrival.
